Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and ensure high-quality imaging. You’ll work with a collaborative care team to provide safe, compassionate patient experiences while maintaining radiation safety standards.

The role requires at least 1 year in Radiology, ARRT certification, and proficiency with RIS/PACS. Join a supportive environment with ongoing education and strong patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT; BLS.
• Ability to perform CT procedures and maintain ALARA.
• Proficient in infection control and patient prep.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain low patient dose.
• Monitor and restock equipment; ensure infection control standards.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and use two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; minimize patient anxiety and ensure comfort.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage finalization.
• Support department workflow and communicate equipment or safety issues to supervisor.
