Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, and uphold patient safety. The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications with BLS, and a minimum of one year in Radiology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines to capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize dose using ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and reduce patient anxiety.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and restock life-support equipment as needed.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and ensure proper finalization.
• Support department workflow and maintain orderly, compliant operations.
