Job summary

WellStar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. Technologists are valued clinical professionals on a collaborative care team.

The role requires ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, a completed Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with a 40-hour weekday day shift. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance for eligible candidates, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
Certifications: ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography).
Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
Operate imaging equipment safely, maintaining diagnostic quality at ALARA dose.
Clean and disinfect rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
Obtain clinical history, verify orders and two patient identifiers.
Explain procedures and prep clearly to reduce patient anxiety.
Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers when needed.
Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and restock equipment as required.
Maintain organized daily workflows and support department operations.
