Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and deliver high-quality imaging with a focus on patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography, a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. BLS is also required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• ARRT-R (Radiography)
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect, clean and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, screen for contraindications, verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care throughout the visit.
