Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification
• CT registry within 1 year of hire
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders and consults Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Positioning patients and preparing for CT exams with explanations.
• Reviews patient history and EMR data for pertinent information.
• Operates CT scanner, post-processing software, and contrast administration.
• Maintains sterile technique and radiation safety practices.
• Rotates shifts and covers call as needed.
