Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT CT certification or registry eligible within 90 days of employment.
• Current unrestricted license in state of practice and BLS.
• CT registry by ARRT preferred; advanced CT cert within one year.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure accuracy.
• Operates CT equipment per protocol including IV placement.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Performs timely quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Assists in departmental operations and adapts to patient population.
