Job summary

Ochsner LSU Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to perform routine and contrast-enhanced CT procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality imaging. You will mentor junior staff and students while maintaining CT protocol and radiation safety standards.

Required ARRT CT certification or registry eligibility, CT registry within 90 days of employment, BLS, and an active state license.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT CT certification or registry eligibility with timely CT registration and state license.
• BLS certification and ongoing compliance with professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure accuracy.
• Operates CT equipment according to protocol and positions patient appropriately.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality and completes QC procedures.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures understanding.
• Mentors junior staff and students and supports department operations.
• Complies with regulatory standards and safety requirements.
