Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Certified CT Technologist to perform computed tomography exams, conduct quality control, and verify orders with radiologists when needed.

You will screen patients for contrast contraindications and collaborate with hospital staff to ensure patient care and timely imaging. Position requires current BCLS, and Texas MRT license; ARRT Radiology certification is required, CT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Current BCLS certification required.
• 2 years CT and/or Radiographer experience preferred.
• Texas MRT license required.
• ARRT Radiology certification preferred; CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all Computed Tomography exams and quality control per manufacturer guidance.
• Evaluates orders, verifies with radiologist when needed, ensures correct exam is performed.
• Screens patients for contraindications to oral or IV contrast; coordinates with staff.
• Maintains performance skills and may work weekends/evenings/nights/on-call as required.
