Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a qualified Computed Tomography Radiologic Technologist to join the imaging department. You will perform CT exams, participate in quality control, and verify orders with radiologists to ensure the correct imaging is performed.

Responsibilities include patient screening for contrast contraindications and collaborating with hospital staff to support patient care. Weekend/evening/on-call shifts may be required to maintain department operations.

Qualifications

  • Must have current BCLS certification.
  • 2 years CT and/or Radiographer experience preferred.
  • Membership in related professional organization preferred.
  • Must adhere to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all Computed Tomography exams and participates in quality control procedures as required by the manufacturer.
  • Evaluates orders, verifies with radiologist if needed, and ensures the correct exam is performed.
  • Screens patients for contraindications for oral or IV contrast and coordinates with hospital staff regarding patient care.
  • Maintains performance skills and may work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, overtime, and on-call status as needed.

BCLS certification

Education

Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology
Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in the State of Texas
ARRT Certification (R) in Radiology
ARRT Certification(C) in Computed Tomography preferred
