Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. in Mission, TX is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform Computed Tomography exams and ensure patient safety. You will verify orders with radiologists, screen for contrast contraindications, and coordinate with hospital staff to support patient care.

The role requires maintaining competency and, at times, working evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties to support service delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have current BCLS certification.
• 2 years CT and/or Radiography experience preferred.
• Membership in related professional organization preferred.
• Commitment to the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct per policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Computed Tomography exams.
• Verify orders with radiologist when needed and ensure correct exam.
• Screen patients for contraindications to oral or IV contrast.
• Interact with hospital staff regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts and assist in resolutions.
• Maintain performance skills and work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime or on-call as required.

Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in the State of Texas

ARRT Certification (R) in Radiology
