Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform computed tomography exams, conduct quality control, and verify orders with radiologists as needed. The role includes screening patients for contrast contraindications and collaborating with hospital staff to resolve care concerns.

The incumbent will maintain performance skills and may work weekends, evenings, nights, holidays, and on-call as required.

Qualifications

• Must have current BCLS certification.
• 2 years prior Computed Tomography and/or Radiographer experience preferred.
• Membership in related professional organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all Computed Tomography exams and quality control procedures as required by the manufacturer.
• Evaluates orders, verifies with radiologist if needed, and ensures correct exam is performed.
• Screens patients for contraindications to oral or IV contrast and communicates with hospital staff on patient care.

Licensed MRT in Texas

ARRT Certification (R) in Radiology
