Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT to join our imaging team. You will operate CT scanners and generate high-quality diagnostic films for neonate to geriatric patients.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, is ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT registered, and has at least two years of CT experience. CPR certification and IV insertion skills are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) or NMTCB (CT).
• At least 2 years’ experience as a registered CT Technologist.
• Basic knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy.
• Ability to insert intravenous catheter.
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with patients, visitors, physicians and staff.
• Certified in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic films for patients across age groups.
• Performs high‑level CT procedures, including invasive procedures and/or CTA coronary studies.
• Works within a fast-paced imaging department and adheres to safety protocols.
• Maintains clear communication with patients and medical staff.

Responsibilities

Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Performs high-level CT functions, including at least one of the following: invasive procedures and/or CTA coronary studies.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).

At least 2 years’ experience as a registered CT Technologist.

Basic knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy.

Ability to insert intravenous catheter.

Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians and other personnel.

Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
