Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to operate CT equipment, producing diagnostic films for a broad patient population and performing high-level CT procedures as needed.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification, a Radiologic Technology program background, and at least two years of CT experience, plus CPR certification. This is a full-time role with standard day shifts in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a registered CT Technologist.
  • Basic knowledge of crosssectional anatomy.
  • Ability to insert intravenous catheter.
  • Certified in CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic films for neonate to geriatric patients.
  • Performs high-level CT functions including invasive procedures and/or CTA coronary studies.

Responsibilities

Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Performs high-level CT functions, including at least one of the following:invasive procedures and/orCTAcoronarystudies.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a registered CT Technologist.
  • Basic knowledge of crosssectional anatomy.
  • Ability to insert intravenous catheter.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians and other personnel.
  • Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
