Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and perform advanced procedures for diverse patient populations. The role requires proficiency in CT imaging, sterile technique, and cross-sectional anatomy across neonate to geriatric patients.

Candidates should have ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) registration, at least 2 years’ experience as a CT technologist, an IV catheter proficiency, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
• At least 2 years' experience as a registered CT Technologist.
• Basic knowledge of crosssectional anatomy.
• Ability to insert intravenous catheter.
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians and other personnel.
• Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Responsibilities

• Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Performs high-level CT functions, including at least one of the following: invasive procedures and/or CTA coronary studies.
