Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB accredited school.
• Registered CT Technologist with the ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
• Must hold American Heart Association Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Prior training or experience in Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning.
• Ability to insert intravenous catheter

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce CT films for neonate to geriatric patients.
• Maintains patient safety and optimal image quality during scans.

Education

ARRT/NMTCB accredited CT program

Registered CT Technologist (ARRT CT) or NMTCB CT

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB accredited school
• Registered CT Technologist with the ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
• Must hold American Heart Association Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

• Prior training or experience in Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning.
• Ability to insert intravenous catheter
