Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification upon hire (Level I)
• BLS certification within 60 days (Required)
• Licensure in state of practice (Required)
• IV competency within 90 days (Required)
• Level II requires 3+ years CT experience
• Fluoroscopy certification (Colorado role) preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment to ensure high-quality images
• Verify patient identity and prepare the patient for the exam
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines
• Complete studies within time expectations
• Educate patients and address concerns
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers
• Stay updated with CT technology and protocols
• Instruct students and other radiology staff in protocols
