Job summary

Hennepin County Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technician for its Computed Tomography department. This role involves performing CT exams under a licensed medical practitioner's order while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

The ideal candidate must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program and maintained current ARRT certification. Additional benefits include competitive pay and extensive medical coverage.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal educational program accredited by ARRT.
• Currently certified by ARRT with minimum CEU credits.
• Possess current CPR certification or obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform Computed Tomography exams under order of a licensed medical practitioner.
• Review and verify CT exam orders and patient identification.
• Document clinical information in patient’s electronic chart.
• Initiate response to complications and emergencies during exams.

Skills

Operation of CT scanning systems

Ability to perform CT examinations

Venipuncture and contrast administration

Ability to provide positive patient experience

Education

Completion of a formal educational Radiologic Technology program

Currently certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Possess CT certification (ARRT)

Possess current CPR certification
