Job summary

Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist II for a 0.60 FTE night-shift role. The position requires working Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am and offers a $100 per shift bonus, a $5 per hour night differential, and a $0.90 per hour weekend differential.

Under supervision, you will perform CT exams, ensure ALARA, review orders, prepare contrast, monitor patients, and document procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT.
• Currently certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Maintains minimum CEU credits as mandated by the ARRT.
• Possess CT certification (ARRT).
• Possess current CPR certification or obtain within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Follows ALARA principle; adjusts radiation dose per patient protocol.
• Reviews CT orders and patient ID to ensure correct exam.
• Assesses patient risk and coordinates with nurses/physicians as needed.
• Prepares patient and ensures pre-medication protocols are complete.
• Performs CT exams under radiologist supervision and documents procedures.
