Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is hiring a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography exams under physician orders, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. The role requires ARRT certification, CPR, and adherence to ALARA principles while coordinating with radiologists and nursing staff.

The position is in-person within the Computed Tomography department, with varied evening shifts and options for different FTE levels. Sign-on bonus available for eligible external candidates.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification and CPR certification.
• Maintains ARRT CEU credits as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams under physician orders.
• Adheres to ALARA and adjusts dose per protocol.
• Verifies orders and patient identification.
• Assesses patient risk and consent requirements.
• Prepares patients and administers contrast as ordered.
• Documents exams and manages PACS imaging.
