Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Radiology Technologist with CT and Nuclear Medicine capabilities. The role involves preparing patients, verifying orders, and performing CT scans under Radiologist supervision.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT Radiology (or NMTCB) certification, CT registry within 1 year, and BLS. Weekend Days with premium pay and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT Radiology or NMTCB certified. CT registry required within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and refer discrepancies to Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients, explain procedures, and document on worksheets.
• Review EMR for clinical history and correlate test results with exams.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Practice radiation safety and maintain sterile technique.
