Job summary

Advocate Health at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT scans and imaging procedures. You will verify orders, prepare patients, and assist Radiologists, handling exams from start to dictated results.

Qualifications

• BLS required.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiology certification or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine with ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders and refer discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Interview patients and review EMR to obtain pertinent history.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique; document contrast administration.
