Geisinger is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform diagnostic CT procedures and support interventional and molecular imaging under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. You will prepare patients, select imaging protocols, and uphold radiation safety standards to ensure high-quality results.

New graduates must obtain ARRT-R or NMTCB before the first day of employment. The organization reserves the right to consider higher levels based on skills, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible

Qualifikationen

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required upon hire.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry or NMTCB prior to first day of employment.
• Advancement to CT Technologist II may be considered based on skills and experience within 24 months.

Aufgaben

• Ensures correct order, patient identification, preparation, and accurate documentation of clinical history.
• Uses imaging protocols and ALARA principles to optimize safety and image quality.
• Preparing and/or administering medications via vascular access when prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Evaluates images for positioning and quality; ensures data transfer/archiving is complete.
• Educates and monitors students and other health care providers.
• Assists licensed practitioner with interventional CT procedures.
• Performs CT procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
