Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required upon hire.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry or NMTCB prior to first day.
• Advancement to level 2 must be completed within 24 months for hires after 2024.

Responsibilities

• Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam, and that clinical history is corroborated and documented.
• Utilizes imaging protocol and ALARA principles to maximize patient safety and care.
• Preparing and/or administering medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Evaluates images for positioning and quality; verifies data storage and post-processing if applicable.
• Educating and monitoring students and other health care providers; assisting licensed practitioner with interventional CT.
