Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required upon hire.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry prior to first day of employment.
• If hired after March 10, 2024, must complete advancement steps to level 2 (advanced cert) within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, prepare for exam and document history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols and ALARA principles to optimize safety and care.
• Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Evaluate images for proper position and quality; ensure data archiving and transfer as needed.
• Educate and monitor students and other health care providers.
• Assist licensed practitioner with interventional CT procedures.
• Perform CT procedures as prescribed.
