Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist for the Cleveland imaging department. This full-time role entails assisting with CT scanning, verifying orders, preparing patients, and maintaining safety standards in a busy radiology unit.

The position requires ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB, ARRT CT registry within one year, and BLS. Rotations and shift coverage, including call/weekends, are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiology or NMTCB nuclear medicine certification required; ARRT CT registry within one year.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and confirm with radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; document in worksheets.
• Review EMR for pertinent clinical history and record medical history on requisitions.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA; maintain sterile technique.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain equipment and work areas.
