Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB-certified program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify and interpret orders with the Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients and provide brief explanations of procedures.
• Prepare patients and document information on appropriate worksheets.
• Review EMR for pertinent clinical history and correlate with exam.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique; ensure patient comfort and safety.
