Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT Radiology certification or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and direct discrepancies to Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures clearly.
• Collect medical history from EMR and requisitions; document and correlate results.
• Perform CT scanning; assist Radiologist/PA during procedures; maintain sterile technique.
• Administer contrast; monitor safety and record usage as required.
• Operate radiology systems, document contrast administration, and keep work area clean.
• Rotate shifts, standby, holidays, and weekends per policy; follow attendance rules.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and report equipment malfunctions.
