Summary

The CT Technologist specializes in computed tomography and performs diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. The CT Tech provides quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Imaging Technology
• Experience: 0-1 year with competency in components of computerized tomography
• Certifications/Licensure: Current ARRT registration in Radiology and CT, or TMB license. ARRT & CT Registry required within one year post graduation.
• Courses/Certifications: Active healthcare provider BLS (ARC or AHA) at hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
