The CT Tech specializes in computed tomography and performs diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. The CT Tech provides quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Imaging Technology.
• Experience: 0-1 year with competency in components of computerized tomography.
• Certifications/Licensure: Possession of a current ARRT in Radiology and CT, or a current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license. ARRT & CT Registry required within one year post graduation from an accredited school.
• Courses/Certifications: BLS obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or Military Training Network.
