Job summary

MercyOne is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT exams, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will work with radiologists and staff to deliver accurate studies while maintaining thorough documentation and QA.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT/NMTCB registries, and BLS certification. This on-site day-shift position emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two-year accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• Active registry status required (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) qualification.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily operations of CT exams on scheduled shifts.
• Operates CT equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner.
• Provides care to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Communicates effectively with patients, staff, radiologists and students.
• Verifies patient identification and ensures correct exam and timing.
• Participates in QA activities and maintains documentation.
• Works with radiologists to maintain quality in CT services.

Shift: Days

What You Will Do

Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Performs daily operations of CT exams on scheduled shifts as assigned. Operates CT equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner.

Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with patients, other staff, radiologists, students and other management. Actively listens and positively accepts change and is able to deal with stressful situations.

Utilizes correct process for patient identification. Right patient, right exam, right time.

Participates as directed in QA activities, maintains current relevant documentation.

Works collaboratively with radiologists to maintain quality in every aspect of CT services.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Previous CT Experience Preferred.
• Maintains active registry status.
• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
