Job summary

MercyOne is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT exams and procedures with a focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will work alongside radiologists to ensure excellence in CT services across all age groups.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT/NMTCB credentials, and active registries. Leadership experience and a commitment to safety and education are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Previous CT experience preferred.
• CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) required.
• Maintains ARRT or NMTCB registry status.
• Maintains Iowa Permit to Practice or Illinois Radiology Technologist License.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support qualification.
• Ability to lead/supervise other employees.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily operations of CT exams and procedures on scheduled shift including emergency callback.
• Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Collaborates with radiologists to maintain quality in CT services.
• Monitors supplies and equipment for usage, reordering/expiration, and reports issues.
• Participates in imaging education programs and clinical preceptorships.
• Participates in huddles and supports metrics, safety, engagement, quality, and customer service.

Shift : Days

What you will do :

Qualifications:

• Must have relevant credentials as defined below:

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.

• Previous2-year CT experiencepreferred.

• CT credential (ARRTor NMTCB)required

• Maintains active registry status in ARRTor NMTCB.

• Maintains current Iowa Permit to Practiceor Illinois Radiology Technologist License

• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.

• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification

• Must be able to work well under pressure and on concurrent, multidisciplinary projects.

• Must be able to provide direction to and supervision of otheremployees.

• Previousleadership experience preferred.
