What you will do :
Performs daily operations of CT exams and procedures on scheduledshiftincluding emergency callback.Operates CT equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner.
Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent,adult,and geriatric patients.
Works collaboratively with radiologists tomaintainquality in every aspect of CT services.
Monitors supplies and equipment for usage, reordering/expiration, andreportsissues as needed.
Collaborates with associated imaging educational programs; positivelyparticipatesin clinical preceptorship for imaging sciences students.Isa positive role model for student technologists.
Participates inhuddlesandensureskey metrics are regularly supported.Supports a culture of safety, engagement, quality, and customer service.
Qualifications:
Must have relevant credentials as defined below:
Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
Previous2-year CT experiencepreferred.
CT credential (ARRTor NMTCB)required
Maintains active registry status in ARRTor NMTCB.
Maintains current Iowa Permit to Practiceor Illinois Radiology Technologist License
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
Must be able to work well under pressure and on concurrent, multidisciplinary projects.
Must be able to provide direction to and supervision of otheremployees.
Previousleadership experience preferred.
