Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a CT Technologist to support a free-standing ER with x-ray and CT duties. The role requires Florida licensure (CRT), ARRT CT preferred, BLS, and 1–3 years radiology experience. Day shifts and on-call responsibilities are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month program in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved institution.
• Current Florida licensure (CRT) and ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active BLS certification and ability to perform required patient care duties.

Responsibilities

• Select technical factors and perform diagnostic CT examinations accurately.
• Operate CT scanner, contrast injector, and related equipment safely.
• Assist in contrast media administration and related procedures.
• Position patients ensuring modesty and safety with equipment.
• Document clinical information and obtain informed consent in MEDITECH.
• Produce high-quality CT images for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and room cleanliness to prevent contamination.
• Communicate effectively with radiologist and team members.
• Support on-call and call-back duties as needed.
