Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital seeks a Florida-licensed CT Technologist for a PRN/per diem role to provide CT services per physician orders and established standards under radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities include selecting factors, operating the CT system, assisting with contrast, and positioning patients safely. Requires 24-month Radiologic Technology program completion, Florida CRT licensure, ARRT CT preferred, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved institution.
• ARRT CT certification (preferred).
• Clear/active Florida licensure as CRT.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to perform work requiring standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Select proper technical factors and perform diagnostic CT exams accurately.
• Operate CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system.
• Assist in administration of contrast media and related procedures.
• Position patients safely and maintain modesty and equipment readiness.
• Document clinical information before exams and obtain informed consent in MEDITECH.
• Ensure high-quality CT images and up-to-date protocols through in-service training.
