Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a Florida-licensed CT Technologist for our free-standing ER department. This full-time position includes interpreting and performing CT and related x-ray studies with a focus on patient safety and image quality.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, active Florida licensure, and BLS. Prior acute-care hospital experience is preferred, with on-call responsibilities as needed to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Florida-licensed CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and active Florida licensure.
• BLS certification required; CRT license must be current.
• Minimum 1 year CT tech experience, preferably in acute-care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Select technical factors and perform diagnostic CT exams with accuracy and care.
• Operate CT scanner, contrast injector, resuscitation equipment, and related systems.
• Administer contrast media and assist with related procedures.
• Position patients, ensure modesty and safe use of equipment.
• Document clinical information accurately in MEDITECH and complete required fields.
