Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is looking for a full-time CT Technologist to provide computerized assisted tomographic services in Bradenton, Florida. You'll perform and complete diagnostic CT examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

Requirements include prior experience in diagnostic radiology and a clear Florida Department of Health licensure. The role entails collaboration with the radiologist and other medical staff to ensure optimal imaging standards are met.

Qualifications

Completion of a 24-month program in Radiologic Technology at an accredited, AMA-approved institution.
ARRT (CT) certification (preferred).
Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, and lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
Minimum of 1-3 years current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Select proper technical factors for study and complete diagnostic CT examinations accurately.
Possess operational knowledge of the CT scanner and related equipment.
Assist in administering contrast media and other related procedures.
Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams and obtain informed consent.
Obtain high-quality CT images for interpretation.
Maintain effective communication with patients and colleagues.
