Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking a CT Technologist to support multiple imaging facilities within the Diagnostic Float Team, delivering high-quality CT exams and compassionate patient care. You will verify patient identity, screen for contraindications, administer contrast safely, optimize images, and document procedures while collaborating with physicians.

The role is full-time with variable shifts, offering PTO, mental health support, wellness resources, and funded education

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • At least 2 years of hospital-based radiologic and CT experience.
  • ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications from American Heart Association.
  • Strong communication, technical, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT exams following physician orders, safety standards, and protocols.
  • Verify patient identity, obtain medical history, and screen for contraindications.
  • Communicate procedures clearly using AIDET with empathy and confidence.
  • Prepare, position, and assist patients with transfers and immobilization as needed.
  • Establish IV access, administer contrast media safely, and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Operate CT scanners and injectors, ensuring accurate scans and patient safety.
  • Optimize imaging techniques to produce diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Evaluate image quality, recognize urgent findings, and collaborate with physicians.
  • Accurately document procedures, manage RIS/PACS entries, and perform quality control.
  • Support daily operations, maintain equipment, and adhere to regulatory standards.
