Job summary

CARIN Alliance seeks a CT Technologist to support a mobile imaging team across multiple facilities, delivering high-quality imaging and ensuring patient safety.

You will perform CT exams, verify patient identity, explain procedures using AIDET, and maintain RIS/PACS documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum of 2 years hospital-based Radiologic Technologist and CT experience.
  • ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT exams per physician orders, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
  • Verify patient identity, obtain relevant history, and screen for contraindications.
  • Explain procedures using AIDET, communicating empathetically with patients and families.
  • Prepare and position patients, assist with mobility and transfers, and ensure patient comfort.
  • Establish IV access, administer contrast media safely, and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Operate CT scanners and injectors, optimize imaging techniques, and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Evaluate image quality, recognize urgent findings, and elevate as needed.
  • Complete documentation accurately, manage RIS, PACS, and related logs.
  • Perform quality control checks, maintain equipment, and support daily operations.

Education
