Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT studies while prioritizing patient safety. The role involves clear communication with radiologists and staff, and training new technologists or patient coordinators as needed.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT CT registration (NMTCB acceptable in some states), a medical imaging license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. Vaccination may be required and you’ll complete a pre-employment background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• ARRT CT registration is required; NMTCB certification acceptable where applicable.
• State license in Medical Imaging.
• CPR certification.
• Active State Driver’s License.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and high-quality CT studies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and staff.
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoot CT scanner and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS).
