Akumin is seeking a CT Technologist to ensure patient safety and perform high‑quality CT studies. You will communicate with radiologists and customers as needed, and may train new technologists and Patient Coordinators on procedures and safety.

The role requires ARRT CT registration, state licensure, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include operating the CT scanner, ensuring imaging quality, and assisting with pre‑employment screenings and safety protocols.

Qualificações

• ARRT CT registration required; NMTCB accepted in lieu where allowed.
• State licensing to practice medical imaging is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Active state driver’s license is required.
• COVID vaccination may be a condition of employment.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure patient safety and pre-screen for contraindications to radiation and contrast.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images.
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoot the scanner and peripheral equipment (including PACS).
