Akumin Inc. is hiring a CT Technologist in Salt Lake City, UT. This full-time role involves performing high-quality CT studies with a focus on patient safety and effective communication with radiologists.

Requirements include ARRT registration (NMTCB in CT acceptable in some states), a state license, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• ARRT registration is required; NMTCB in CT acceptable if ARRT not available in some states.
• State license where service provided.
• CPR certification.
• Active State Driver’s License.
• Strong customer service skills and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Ensures patient safety and high-quality CT studies.
• Communicates effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Trains new technologists and/or patient coordinators when needed.
• Pre-screens for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections.
• Operates and troubleshoots CT scanner and peripheral equipment.
