Akumin Inc. is hiring a CT Technologist in Salt Lake City, UT. This full-time role involves performing high-quality CT studies with a focus on patient safety and effective communication with radiologists.

Job Overview

This position pays up to $51/hour and is based on experience! We are currently hiring for a CT Technologist at our Salt Lake City, UT facility. This will be a full time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures Patient Safety and the performance of high quality CT studies.
• Responsible for ensuring effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary.
• Trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators in some instances.
• Ensures Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications to radiation and contrast injections.
• Uses aseptic injection techniques.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologist and/or PC's.
• Troubleshoots the scanner, coach and all peripheral equipment (including monitors, PACS, etc.).

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Registered Computed Tomography Technologists by the ARRT.
• If allowable by state where service is provided certification by the NMTCB in Computed Tomography acceptable in lieu of ARRT registry.
• State license.
• Licensed in Medical Imaging, if applicable.
• CPR certification.
• Technologists performing mid-day moves.
• Active State Driver’s License.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
