Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to perform advanced radiology procedures with focus on safety, accuracy, and patient comfort. You will position patients, acquire high-quality CT images, administer contrast as prescribed, and ensure timely image delivery to PACS.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiologists and nurses to support efficient patient care in a fast-paced department.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT Radiography and CT certifications required or in progress.
• Strong communication, patient care and teamwork essential.
• Ability to perform CT procedures with safety and precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams with proper positioning and contrast protocols.
• Verify patient identity and procedure details per policy.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure radiation safety.
• Prepare reports and ensure images are sent to PACS.
• Assist with patient comfort and communication during exams.
