Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join our imaging team in a flexible, PRN capacity. The role involves ensuring safe, age-appropriate care while performing CT and radiographic procedures with independence and teamwork.

Candidate must hold ARRT credentials (Radiography and CT) and BLS. The position supports a high-volume facility with a focus on quality, patient experience, and continuous education.

Qualifications

• Accredited Program Radiologic Technology
• ARRT-R - Radiography certification
• ARRT-CT - Computed Tomography certification
• BLS or ARC-BLS Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Verifies clinician orders and patient identity.
• Assists with setting up imaging equipment and positioning.
• Reviews images for quality and communicates findings to radiologists.
• Maintains patient privacy, comfort and safety during exams.
• Operates CT and radiography equipment with appropriate safety measures.
• Performs cleaning, charging and restocking of supplies and equipment.
