Job summary

Wellstar seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic imaging, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include preparing patients, verifying orders, and delivering high-quality images with proper technique.

Candidate must be certified (ARRT-R/ARRT-CT), hold an accredited program, and maintain BLS. Flexibility for varied shifts and teamwork across the radiology department is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certification required at hire.
• BLS certification is required upon hire.
• Ability to perform safe CT and radiographic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment to provide imaging services and position patients.
• Verify orders, prepare patients, and ensure privacy and comfort.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness per policy and OSHA standards.
• Deliver high-quality CT/radiographic images with appropriate technique.
• Assist in emergencies and support other technologists as needed.
• Document procedures, verify patient identity, and ensure safety.
