Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform CT and radiography exams, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality images.

You will work with a skilled team in a fast-paced setting, maintaining strict safety and QC standards and contributing to patient care excellence across shifts.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• Current ARRT radiography and CT certifications required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire or within probation period.
• Demonstrated ability to operate CT and radiography equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures with attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Verify orders, obtain histories, and document preprocedural steps.
• Position patients, operate CT and radiography equipment, and ensure image quality.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control throughout procedures.
• Review scans with radiologists and ensure timely PACS submission.
• Provide patient education and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and QC checks.
