Job summary

WellstarHealth System in Georgia seeks a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiography procedures with a focus on patient safety and image quality. You will verify orders, obtain histories, and ensure compliance with department protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, assisting with contrast administration, image review, PACS transfer, and maintaining patient privacy and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must exhibit excellent communication with physicians, patients and staff.
• Ability to function independently under pressure while maintaining teamwork.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced radiology department.

Responsibilities

• Verifies proper clinician order for procedure.
• Obtains complete clinical history, gathers examination data and assesses contraindicating conditions.
• Loads and operates power injection and CT equipment.
• Restocks linens and supplies, transports patients and positions them for exams.
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity and explains procedures using clear communication.
