Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Community Care is hiring a CT Technologist for the Brunswick Family Health Center in Ohio. You will produce cross-section images, position patients, administer contrast as needed, and ensure high-quality results within the CT suite.

The role supports patient-centered care, with responsibilities including patient education, chart review, and maintaining CT area operations. Evening shift coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Registered Technologist (R.T.(R)) in good standing.
• CT Certification within one year of hire (R.T.(R) (CT)).
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Acquire patient chart data/requisition and verify study aligns with diagnostic needs.
• Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment and exam to ensure understanding.
• Maintain all aspects of the CT area including technical and clerical documentation.

As a CT Technologist at Brunswick Family Health Center, you will produce cross-section images of internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of various medical issues. Utilizing your advanced training and knowledge, you will accurately interpret scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. This role is critical in the overall treatment of our patients, making you an invaluable asset to the Cleveland Clinic system.

A caregiver in this position works from 2:30pm-11pm or 3pm-1130pm.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Acquire patients chart data/requisition and reviews both to determine correct room set-up and learn of any specific medical problems, contraindications to the study and verify that the study being ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs.
• Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain all aspects of the CT area including the technical and clerical components to ensure proper quality assurance results and any required documentation.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists [R.T.(R) (ARRT)] in good standing
• Certification in Computed Tomography [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)] within one year of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $33.50
Maximum hourly: $48.50
