Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certifications.
• BLS certification per American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize patient dose.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, screen contraindications, and verify orders.
• Explain procedures clearly and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and report issues promptly.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and restock equipment.
