Job summary

The CT Technologist at Cobb Hospital within Wellstar delivers safe, high‑quality imaging and supports patients throughout exams, following ALARA principles. You will perform CT procedures, operate imaging equipment, verify orders, document in RIS/PACS, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; ARRT certifications preferred.
• Licenses/certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines to obtain diagnostic quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose management.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Document exams in RIS/PACS accurately and timely.
• Ensure room cleanliness, prep supplies, and proper infection control.
