Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality CT imaging and provide a supportive patient experience. You will join a collaborative radiology team and contribute to efficient workflow and accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.

Requirements include a High School diploma, an accredited Radiologic Technology program, 1 year radiology experience, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS. Competitive benefits and sign-on incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at ALARA doses.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care to reduce patient anxiety and ensure consent.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol using proper venipuncture technique.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
